I'm Kate — a journeyman hairstylist, mom to two girls, and someone who got tired of watching talented stylists lose client history because there was no tool that fit how we actually work.

I didn't build Chairnotes because I saw a market opportunity. I built it because I needed it, and I figured a lot of you probably did too.

Do I need to download an app? +
No download required. Chairnotes runs entirely in your phone's browser. Bookmark it and it works exactly like an app — without touching the App Store.
What does the $17 get me? +
Full lifetime access at the founding member price. You get all current features and all future updates — no subscription, no recurring charges. Pay once, use it for your whole career.
How does the voice note actually work? +
Just speak after the appointment — talk like you would to another stylist. "Full balayage, Wella 7/43 6% at the root, 9% through mid-lengths, 20 min, toned with..." Chairnotes listens and builds a clean structured record automatically.
Is my client data private and secure? +
Your records are stored on your device — they don't live on a shared server. You own your data and it travels with you, not with your booking app or your salon.
What if I change phones or lose my data? +
Great question — a cloud backup feature is on the roadmap. For now, the app includes a download option so you can export your records as a backup anytime.
When do I get access after buying? +
Immediately. After purchase you'll receive an email with your login password and a link to the app. You can start adding records the same day.
