I'm Kate. I spent 20 years behind the chair as a journeyman hairstylist, and 7 years teaching the pre-apprenticeship hairstylist program. I built Chairnotes because I watched too many talented stylists lose client history they couldn't afford to lose.

I didn't build Chairnotes because I saw a market opportunity. I built it because I needed it, and I figured a lot of you probably did too.
